What honestly should have been a charming romantic comedy turned out to be a seriously irritating film! I understand that things need to go wrong and that it was the premise but HONESTLY. It was the same type of irritation I got from watching Dinner for Shmucks. Wonderful actors, just too annoying for me to enjoy sadly. I really enjoyed watching the movie. Though it's set in the familiar wedding reception setting, it's novel with regards to the treatment of each character. Definitely a light-hearted, feel good movie. Now i like all sorts of movies and from time to time watching a nice and funny romcom with my wife is fun to do. Now the intro looked promising and the title screen on Netflix made us click. But what a repetitive slow dragging movie this is. It's been a long time that my wife and I watched a movie and looked at each other and said 'fast forward. or? Sorry but a big nope.

I've never written a review, I felt I needed to here.
I liked the first 15 minutes, the music, the set-up, actors. However, then it gets in too silly romcom "we should communicate but are purposefully misunderstanding each other" waters.
The story plays out a certain way for a LONG time (I even forgot we were supposed to get multiple viewpoints) and then does a montage of "what would/could have happened. The next part, the one that is supposed to be the 'happy ending' seems rushed and not so happy at all.
Disappointed by the last 75 minutes.

That was the perfect movie to bring some lightness into our lives right now. Funny and very well acted, gorgeous locations.
